The rheumatologists of SOAR are specialists in internal medicine with sub-specialty training in Rheumatology. The field encompasses musculoskeletal and auto-immune diseases which include osteoarthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, gout, arthritis, lupus, myositis, and fibromyalgia. The rheumatologists are expert in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of complaints involving fatigue, joint pain and inflammation. They have expertise in sports related health problems such as asthma and amenorrhea. They are published in medical journals and textbooks and are involved in clinical research for new therapies.
